Wave2012 International Slalom Race information
- following the rules of ICF
- maximal number of participants in heats on 4th August 2012: 180
- start fee: 250 CZK or 10 EUR
- the course dificulty correspondes with the kind of the race and its significance and course designers (Lukáš Pollert a Jakub Prüher) nature. Translation: the course will be pretty difficult :), so we can't accept such as argumentation as a low age or low slalom skills of some competitors during the course approval.
Reason to start:
- czech competitors
- participants of Czech Cup 2012 in slalom kayaking born in 1997 and older
- owners of 2nd grade (according to the rules of Czech Canoe Federation) born in 1997 and older till the deadline of number of participants, preffered are participants of WAVE2006 - WAVE2009 and the turn in chart of NKZ 2012 (serie of National Control Races)
- exception could be made just according to decision of the organiser, that is taking account of results of the paddler of Wave2012 Junior Cup
- foreign competitors
- year of born 1997 and older
- exception for racers born in 1998 and later could be made just according to decision of the organiser with taking account of the result of Wave2012 Junior Cup
- for slovak competitors: owners of 2nd or better grade
Applications
The applications will be accepted from 12.6.2012 8:00 exclusively via on-line entry system Slalom World.
Applications sent by e-mail will not be accepted.
The organizer reserves the right to close registration earlier than indicated in the online system, because of limited capacity starts.
Heats: Saturday 4th August 2012
- start list is made with taking account of performance of racers, the best are going as the last
- order of categories: C2, C1W, C1M, K1W, K1M first run, break, second run in the same order
Semi-final: Sunday 5th August 2012
preliminary progress key to semi-final:- C2 : 14 best of heat
- K1W: 25 best of heat
- C1M: 35 best of heat
- C1W: 8 best of heat
- K1M: 45 best of heat
Final: Sunday 5th August 2012
preliminary progress key to final:- C2 : 8 best of semi-final run
- K1W: 10 best of semi-final run

The organiser can increase the number of racers in final run to in categories K1W, C1 and K1M at least 4 juniors will participate (year of born 1994 or later).

The competition is intended for young paddlers born between years 1996-1999.
age limit: born between 1996-1999
age categories: U15, born in 1998-1999, U17, born in 1996-1997
heats: Thursday 2nd August 2012
semi and final: Friday 3rd August 2012
number of participants in semifinal run will be specified during the team leaders meeting, in final run will start most 10 best boats each boat and age category.

WAVE2012 Boater Cross information.
Heats and quaterfinals: Saturday 4th August 2012
Start fee: 100 CZK/boat
Capacity of heats: to the limit of 32 boats, for participation is important the time of application

Number of boats in a run: 4
Progress to the next part of the race: best 2 boats of each run
Semi-final and final: Sunday 5th August 2012
2 semi-final runs each of 4 boats, 2 best boats of each run will participate in the final run
Boats given by organizer.
